Hello Everyone
Hi everyone, I'm KnightTime. Like most people I used Windows most of my life but after seeing the way Microsoft tried to trick/force people onto Windows 10 and made Office into a subscription service I decided it was time to switch. I still have a laptop running Windows 8.1 but once that becomes useless I intend to never use another Microsoft OS at home again (though I still have to at work). It's difficult so far but Windows was too when I first started learning it.

Re: Hello Everyone
Welcome to Mint and the Forum. It's especially nice to see someone coming to Linux after years of using Windows recognizing this fact:
Changing to Linux was practically the end of my frustration with computing.
So many forget this and then get unnecessarily frustrated, sometimes even going back to Windows without realizing how much they are going to miss out on.KnightTime wrote:It's difficult so far but Windows was too when I first started learning it.
