Hello from Texas

Post by DoctorVell »

Hello there, my name is known as DoctorVell online (real name is different and I am NOT a real doctor). I am a 50 year old man who is a long time user of the Linux operating systems (has changed over the years) who loves the challenges and thrills of playing around with it. Plus I am tired of paying Microsoft money every time they come up with a new operating system to make my system work properly. I also love the help that you can get with the operating systems.

Currently I am running a Gateway M-1625 laptop computer with 3gb RAM and a 256gb hard drive with LinuxMint 18.3 Cinnamon desktop. I love it so far and I hope that it will support 19.0 when that gets released.

Anyway, I hope to make new friends here and maybe even do some meetings in real life and we can help each other out if possible or just have a good friendship.

BTW I am not looking for any relationship as I am a very happily married man of 13+ years to my soul mate.

Don't tell anyone... I'm not the real Moomin either. (That's what my nickname means: the Dutch word for Moomin.)
It's all good. Welcome to the forum and enjoy the minty freshness!
