Hello All;
I am a new user who just made the plunge moving from Windows 97 to Mint!
Being in my 70's it takes longer for me to pick up on things but I am somewhat persistent.
The biggest issue I have right now is finding a back up solution that would work for me.
I want a solution that would allow backups to a removable drive as as a network drive on my FreeNas server.
The key issue regarding this is the ability to have a boot CD or memory stick that can be used to boot the backup program
to find a backup and do a complete ( Full ) restore.
I hope that I have explained this well enough.
Thanks for your time and am glad to be on board!

Hi, and welcome. For backu[p I use clonezilla. It's saved my bacon many times. You can download a live version of clonezilla here: http://clonezilla.org/downloads.php
