Back again!

Post by hugh »

Hello once again, I last used Mint Cinnamon a few years ago, (and previous to that Cassandra) but this time I have Sarah XFCE installed on an old Dell Mini 10v with 2GB RAM and 128GB SSD.
Dual booting with Windows 7 but mostly sticking with Mint. To be honest I am mainly a Mac user but the netbook was getting too slow and behind the times as a Hackintosh, and stuck on an old version of OS X with no possibility of upgrading - hence the fresh installs.
Performance not too bad considering the age of the netbook on an Atom 1.6 processor, currently using Seamonkey as browser / email as Firefox is just painfully slow.

I must say Mint has come along a bundle in just a few years, with very little terminal work to do.
Excellent work, keep it up :D

Cheers :)

Hugh
