Hello from a Dutchman in France

Post by Kabé »

Hi all,

Long time lurker, I thought it was time... I have been using linux mint mate since a couple of years now, first on an old netbook to speed it up, compared to Windows, and get acquainted to it, then on my desktop when windows started nagging to replace my W7 to W10 (still have W7 as dual boot, just in case, but last time I used it is about a year ago). I quickly installed it also on my new laptop that I use for teaching and to work under the olive tree in the garden (spring announces itself!).

Found a very lot of very useful information on these forums to help me out and learn more about linux. Thanks to all those who help.

Best,
Kees
