New to Linux

Post by stratorider »

Hi all,

I´m completely new to Linux, 2 weeks +-, but already have it running in 2 machines.
Loving it so far, need to learn a lot, but that's always the best part, isn't it?

Installed Mint 18.3 cinnamon in my main laptop and 18.1 Xfce in an older one; both running great.
Already thinking to convert the other family members at home.

Cheers everyone.

Welcome aboard. Converting others may be easier than you think. I've just converted all my machines to Mint and SWMBO has found it far friendlier than Windows and she is computer illiterate. She only uses one to watch movies on the home network or netflix.
