Hi all.

I've been playing around with Linux / Ubuntu distros recently and found myself using Mint 18.3 as my stable workhorse. I remember trying out Ubuntu years and years ago and was very quickly put off by the launch bar down the left and the strange way of opening application windows and switching between desktops etc. No such concerns with Mint which not only looks soooo much better but is incredibly user-friendly too. I'm so glad I've discovered it and proud to say I'm now into my third week without needing to resort to booting Windows 10 :)

I'd also like to request a registration code in order to leave feedback on an app. I've just installed Recoll - which is a great tool and exactly what I was looking for - but after clicking on the link to leave feedback was asked to a) introduce myself here and b) request a registration code. So, could I have one please? :)

Use the chat room link on the Mint Welcome screen to go to the Linux Mint IRC and request a registration code. The mintbot will send you the code

Registration codes are obtained in the chat room. You can use the link to Chat at the welcome screen or use Hexchat from your menu :wink:
