Hello to all of u

Post by GM-Mint-user » Sat Apr 14, 2018 5:16 pm

Nearly 25 years ago I was in touch with Linux for the first time but for many reasons I did not stay.
I new CPM, MS-DOS, Novell and all this old stuff including commercial programming languages and now I am back with an old HP workstation HP-Z800 which I bought via ebay a while ago.
Having the time to return to things I like to do I will start to install Mint these days on an exchangable SATA hard drive.
So looking for a good root to take before starting, sure I will find some howto's or Q&A with necessary descriptions.
Hopefully bluray, 1394 (IEEE), USB3 and the onboard SATA raidcontroller will be recogniced automaticly ;)
Bootable USB is waiting to start while I am trying to find the above.
