New to Linux

Post by khogle » Wed Apr 18, 2018 4:16 pm

I have installed Mint on 2 computers. Networking was a chore, but got thru it reading these forums. Anyway, such a noob and slowly learning the terminal.

Hang in there, I too was Linux stupid six months ago.

not that much better now, but at least I can get around and do most everything I need now below the desktop GUI.

Keep a notebook, electronic type database. I use Evernote, it is free for home use.

when I see something I don't know, I study what they did, try it out on my PC, and write up my definition of what happened, so that I can recall it later...

this is just one page, I have a 100 notes on Linux at least.

Excellent idea, been using sticky notes myself (actual, not virtual), but I will organize them as you have. Thank you for the great idea.

It has been, and is, an exciting journey.
