Welcome Ron! I know you'll find the forum very helpful.

Have fun with Mint!

Your English is better than some people I know whose English is their first language.

Welcome Ron, I agree, your English is way better than many natives. What part of the world are you from? From another (almost) geriatric.
Kernel: 4.15.0-36-generic x86_64 bits: 64
Desktop: Cinnamon 3.8.9
Distro: Linux Mint 19 Tara

Laptop T4500 Dualcore 4Gb RAM
Server AMD Phenom 9650 - GEForce 9400GT 6Gb RAM
+ three other Linux Mint machines
Out of my mind - please leave a message

Wow what a warm welcome!
I'm Dutch, yes The Netherlands. I live in a village called IJmuiden, a industry and fishing place witch has next year the biggest sea-ports of the world!
best regards,
Ron
