I'm Ron, almost an old man and in to something new!
my English is terrible, but i will do my very best.
after many years of Windows i now jumped into the world of Linux and i must say " i love it".
i'm running Linuxmint 18.3
i hope to learn a lot, and will be back soon with questions

Wow what a warm welcome!
I'm Dutch, yes The Netherlands. I live in a village called IJmuiden, a industry and fishing place witch has next year the biggest sea-ports of the world!

hi garring and welcome...two of the really large contributors on this forum are both from the nederlands as you yourself...on is MOEM, who is a moderator on the forum, the other is PJOTR, who is a very knowledgeable contributor here as well as the writer/publisher of EASY LINUX found by going to this link...this will help you on your journey in linux mint as well as some other versions of linux operating systems...DAMIEN
