Hi Everybody

Post by rickofthewoods » Thu May 10, 2018 5:04 pm

Hello. Not only is this my first post on these forums, it is my first post on any forum (Long time lurker). I've recently adopted Linux mint as my daily driver, having become frustrated with windows incessant data mining. I'm currently embarked on a mission to understand more of the software side of things, after having spent most of my computer past gaming and building PCs. Anyway, just wanted to say hello and I'll meat you out there on the forums.

Welcome aboard, rickofthewoods! I honestly do not understand why anybody puts up with Windows and its various problems. I see they put ads in the Start Menu now. Good grief! Intolerable.

Thanks everyone. You've made me feel so welcome. I just have to contend with the feeling of 'Tech Inadequacy' now. Everybody on these forums seems to be a lot more knowledgable than me. I suppose I'll just have to dive in and catch up. Thanks Again! :D
