Hi,
I am completely new to Linux let alone Mint, but have tried before and not succeeded very well so i am aiming to get to know it better and maybe learn about Linux. I have always been a windows user since 3.1 days but time to change is now.
My biggest concern is getting used to terminal commands but guess that will come in time.
Anyhow i hope to be active on these forums so catch up soon.

Welcome aboard, forr3s49! Don't worry about terminal commands. It's pretty rare that you actually have to use one, and most of the time if you need one, it will be because you are having some kind of problem and somebody will give you a command to diagnose or fix the problem. In that case, all you have to do is copy and paste the command they give you.

Re: Hello All
Welcome from another former longtime Windows user. So far, I have found that there are GUI apps to cover most issues anyway. Some things are not as "logical" as the Windows way of doing things, so, sometimes, the simple things seem more complex than they need to be. That said, the solution is also usually quite simple, just different.
