Hello all. Brand new to Linux, and sick of Windows. Decided on the Mint distribution as I read it was user friendly and stable; seems like a good option for a newbie! I'm hoping to familiarize myself with the landscape and get some level of comfort/confidence using the command-line. Hugely excited to be a part of the community!

welcome to the "other side". Mint is, by far, the best alternate OS to Windows or Fruit.
