Hello and welcome to the world of Mint patrickjburt! :D

Ubuntu is a nice OS and has many of the same aspects with Linux Mint: especially the terminal commands.

I have two computers: on one I use Ubuntu 18.4. Bionic Beaver and on the other I use Linux Mint 19.1 Tessa. Both are fine OS's.
