Hello, everyone!
Hey, been using Linux Mint off and on for a few years now, but finally decided to join the forums! Seems like a cool place here.

Re: Hello, everyone!
Mine's a T420, complete with a dock since, sadly that's way cheaper than building a new machine (for right now). But I love it.
Mostly came here to chat with other people, really, Linux Mint has given me the least amount of issues and when I had stopped using Linux for a while it was already pretty stable. Now I come back to it, it Mint has gotten even better.

Re: Hello, everyone!
Mint just keeps getting better..
While there's a huge number of distros (And versions of distros), it's not right to sway anyone to a particular dostro/version, as what is right for 1 person, may not be for another.
That said, if anyone in my circles was to ask, especially those new to Linux, I would advise them to get mint 17 or 18, depending on the age of their computer/laptop. It's very stable, easy to install and for those coming from Windows, looks very similar too..
