Brave New World?

Post by RobZ_inT »

Hello to any and all.
This is my first go at using Linux, I've been a Windows drone sine there first was a Windows. It's a little daunting, different labels and methods. Fortunately Mint seems to be somewhat intuitive.
I'll probably be peppering the board with Newbie questions in the days to come.

Welcome, Rob, you'll find that Linux is not all that different from Windows in the tools to perform tasks. To qualify that statement. It performs the same duties as Windows, BUT, it does not call home every five minutes with all your personal information, it is also way more stable than Windows. AND - MY FAVOURITE - Updates occur in the background ONLY when you permit them!
