Hi, actually I am German but at the moment living in Mauritius.
I was always on and off Linux made it myself difficult to leave windows behind. Since May last year I am now "weg vom Fenster" as we say in German (gone from the window) which is normally used for other occasions.
That time with the newest update on Windows 10 they really made it easy for me when they disabled the possibility to choose a connection as metered (to avoid the auto updates). At that time I had a quite bad provider, providing either low bandwith (but selling more) or none at all. So I used my phone on another provider to connect when I had an important webinar or Skype meeting. You can imagine, with that new Win10 setting my sim card was always depleated very fast.
Now I enjoy the new freedom to install whenever I want and above all what I want, excluding what I don't want and feeling sorry for friends who have to take what they get. I have to say I do not miss anything from Windows.
Greetings from Mauritius
