Hi from the UK

Post by SixNine06 »

Hi all, my name is Stu, Just joined after installing Linux Mint 19, I think the first distro I tried to install but failed was Mandrake in the late 90s since then I have had an on/off relationship with linux mainly due to gaming but now with the help of Steam I get by without Windows. Since Mandrake I have tried Ubuntu, Elementary, Steam OS, openSUSE, #!CrunchBang and Fedora but kept going back to Ubuntu. I installed Linux Mint before on my brothers laptop but never used it on my own computer until now, I am loving how smooth my experience is so far, I have had only one issue where the software centre freezes after an install but that seems to have resolved on its own. Anyway I'm looking forward to being here. :D
