Howdy phd21,

Thank you for your greeting post and I see I already made a mistake by trying to post an image. Instead of you seeing the image, you went to the apparent link. I guess I will have to read up more on how to do that properly on the forum  .

Looks like you have been using Linux quite a while, if I read the right-side properly.

Have a melodious day,

Greetings all41,

Thank you for the welcome note. There must be something to Linux if the three of you have been doing this for awhile. That's good to see!

Thanks again,

Hi WharfRat,

Thanks you for welcoming me to the land of Linux Mint. Your nickname congers-up an image of a stevedore or long-shore-man.

Have a great day WharfRat,

Greetings catweazel,

Awesome that you had time to divert your gaze of fear and astonishment to kindly welcome me to the Linux Mint asylum. I look forward to discussing the finer points of men's hair dressing and haberdashery with you.

Thanks for the admit,

Welcome to the "other side", as you have found, the natives are (mostly) friendly here. Of all the help forums out in Internet land, this is one of the friendliest.

Hi lsemmens,

Thanks for the parallel universe welcome. Yes, I have found the inmates an interesting collection of communicative sorts. Especially in some of their choices of Avatars and locations. For a first timer of forums I'm impressed at these environs and the inhabitants, that I have met so far. But, if it's anything close to reality and I have my doubts  , you just hope there is more good than bad where ever you are!

Thanks again and have a great day,
Seismic
