Hello from Scotland.

Post by BrianI »

I just thought I'd pop in and introduce myself.

I am a happy user of Linux Mint 19, based in the Kingdom of Fife, Scotland.

I have tried other Linux distros in the past, but always end up in the Comfortable Sofa that is Linux Mint. :D

My main interests are in photography and nature sound recording, primarily using Darktable, Gimp, Openshot and Audacity.
Linux Mint, with the appropriate ubuntu PPAs means I can get nice up to date versions of Darktable etc, but still have a nice stable operating system.

So congratulations Linux Mint Team on this great release.

Welcome from south of the border! :D Been too long since I last visited your beautiful country. Last time was in 2012, walking & driving in the west Highlands & on Skye. Not sure my car would make it that far now ..

Hello again.
Not sure what happened between then and now with my old account.
I've have a bit of a break from linux mint, trying various distros, and not being all too happy with them.

So here I am, back with Linux Mint Cinnamon Edition (Really enjoying it now), so I thought I'd get back into the forum.

Cheers,

Brian.

Looks like it's still intact, otherwise no post count would show on the posts you made before. Did you try a password reset?
