Love/Hate Linux Mint

Post by cyper_MINT »

I love Linux Mint but hate that I have to use it on a, who knows how old, HP-G62. I just tried LM (all variants) on a Dell ,fast as *ell, XPS 5970 too.

I'm sad that I could only boot by turning off UEFI in the BIOS though. That's one rabbit hole I didn't see coming, but I've obviously been out of the loop for a while.

Can anyone recommend a decent 15" laptop that won't require years of research to get up and running?
