Clueless

Post by c w » Fri Oct 26, 2018 5:05 am

Just installed Cinnamon, Ubunto and xfce on 3 separate disks on an old PC after trying out on a USB for the first time. All went smoothly and I am very impressed with the philosophy behind Linux. I am on a journey with no clue what I am doing!

Thank you. I have revitalised an old HP machine and it seems to have new life now. I can also tinker with it to explore.

Yes, at my age I seem to be clueless about an ever growing list of things! The older I get the more there is to learn.

Welcome, c w! Moving to Linux is an adventure with lots of possibilities, as you have likely seen. I jumped in with both feet & never looked back, it was nice to have such quick and easy installations.
