Hello anybody!
I'm slowly teaching myself computers. I know that sounds dumb, but really! I want to figure out computing from the hardware to the software!
I come at this with absolutely no expertise in computer science, physics, or even mathematics for that matter, but I do enjoy writing. So I also enjoy reading.

Re: Learning Resources
Welcome aboard, Alex! I moved your post to the "Introduce yourself" area of the forums, since it didn't actually have any support question in it. You will have a lot of fun (and likely a few heartaches) teaching yourself about computers. There are a lot of very knowledgeable computer users, so this is a good place to learn. And don't be afraid to ask questions, that's what the forums are here for!
There are a zillion books about computers and Linux, and lots of information available on the web.
