Hey, everybody.

I spent a fair amount of time wrestling with Ubuntu maybe 10 years ago. I found it frustrating, abandoned my efforts, and returned to Windows. But now, sick to death of the software behemoths and fearing for my privacy, I'm back. And I'm amazed at how much I'm enjoying myself. Installed LM v19/Cinnamon, my older laptop is now screaming fast, and I've had only a couple of niggling issues, which barely detract from the overall experience of responsiveness and refinement. Wow!

Looking forward to leaning in.
