Hello; i am linux user from Lithuania.
I use linux from 2007.
Now i use and like most these three Debian based linux systems:
Mint, Ubuntu and Debian.
Most favorite desktop for me is "MATE" with theme "Mint-X" for all components of interface.
I try to use only free and open source software.
Because i do not play games anymore, i am happy with free and opensource drivers for graphics card which i have.
What i am concerned about, is future of "Synaptic" package manager, because it does not work on "Wayland" graphical server, only with "X" server; i experienced this on current Debian stable system.

Welcome aboard, stsmint8! Synaptic not working on Wayland is a "feature", not a bug:
https://github.com/mvo5/synaptic/issues/15
https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugrepo ... bug=818366
https://lists.debian.org/debian-user/20 ... 01022.html
Apparently it does work with xwayland (which I know nothing about).
