Hi and TIA

Post by mojo_risin78 »

Hi all, for all the time I have been using computers I decided to start a degree in Computing and IT, however, it then brought me to Linux which I absolutely love it.:D

I am having a few technical issues installing on old laptops so I think I will be here quite a bit.

Thanks MJ

Hi mojo... If they are old laptops then you may be better off using an older distribution of Mint than the latest and greatest. As Wally has suggested ALWAYS post a hardware and software spec for each system you are having trouble with.

If you have LInux installed on said machine a quick way of doing that is opening a Terminal and entering inxi -Fxz,copying the output and posting that inside the quote tags with your request for help.
