Hello from Bulgaria

Post by yoanignatov » Mon Feb 04, 2019 6:17 am

Hello from me as well, another Linux newbie. :)
Been Windows user since forever, but as Windows 10 gets more inconvenient for me, I decided to give Linux a try, and I stopped over Linux Mint. Till now, it's acting stable and performance, disk usage, ram usage and etc. is years ahead of Windows 10, at least on my computers. Although I still try to get used to Linux file system and the absence of the letters and mainly Microsoft RDP, which I use constantly, it seems nice world.
As every newbie, I have tons of questions, but unfortunately, I've read that there should be separate topic for every category (networking, hardware, etc.), so expect me there. :)
GA-H81M-S2PV, Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-4690, 12 GB DDR3, Kingston 120 GB SSD + 1 TB HDD, Intel HD Graphics - Mint 19.1 Mate
Please excuse my bad English and my noob questions. :)

Hi yoanignatov,

Welcome to the forum. This is a great resource for answers and suggestions to your questions and issues. Please provide your hardware and software info with your questions.

There are many options for RDP. A popular one I have seen on the forum is Teamviewer. Try searching the forum for terms like 'remote'.

Cheers,
Wally
