If you have experience from Ubuntu- Mint's pretty much the same at the command-line level (Ubuntu base.) As for the rest of it I think you will find it second nature.

Hello LyRaleiMint and welcome to the world of Mint.

Thus far, I have used Linux Mint 17.3, 18.3 and Ubuntu 18.04. As for as the command line is concerned, as mentioned previously, there is not a lot of difference between Ubuntu and Linux Mint. Most of the difference is in the desktop graphics and operation. With some variations, the basic OS of Linux in Ubuntu.
