Repurposed Chromebox to Mintbox

Post by ZoobyDoo » Wed Aug 28, 2019 8:12 pm

Hello, I'm new to Linux.

I recently repurposed my Asus m400u chromebox as a "Mintbox". :)

Google let me know that it wasn't going to be supported anymore...so here I am.

Welcome from me too although a bit belated. Great to see these (soon to be) abandoned, by the supplier, machines can be put to good use for the future. Hopefully the storage isn't too limited but if it is, as I suspect, a 32GB eMMC, as long as you take care of the cached update files etc., it should give you no problems.
