Re: Long time lurker, new to the boards
There have been a good few people signing up here recently as long-time Mint users with no issues to have to ask things about, the information (if any) needed already being easy enough to find, which is a good sign!
I know there are many who do use Mint (or other distros, such as myself) but who themselves don't (generally) use Forums. One of my close mates fits is in this category. So it is good to hear from you even if just to let us know you are having a good experience! It is also encouraging to new users to see such threads as yours posted on here, so it is appreciated in more ways than you might think.
Thanks for posting!

Hi All,
Thanks for the warm welcome..
@ BG405
I have been using mint since the release of 18 (Sarah)
I have used it for my daily driver ever since.. I have had a go at most distos, mainly around debian and RHEL, but I am at the age when I want thing to 'just work'.. the days of gentoo are long past me now.
Congratulations on such a great distro!
Oh, like the cats too
