Welcome, feel free to start asking them in the Newbie Section. Please read the 'how to get help' guide first, it will help people assist you more effectively with any questions you have if you can follow those relatively simple guidelines.

Hi geo57! Welcome to the forum!

Here's a collection of good references:

Linux Mint Installation Guide

If you need to search for something here, and you can't find it with the search box in the upper right corner, try your favorite browser with your search words along with site:linuxmint.com or site:forums.linuxmint.com. Sometimes it helps.

For example, if you want to look for answers about "custom notifications" you could enter...

Code: Select all

custom notifications site:linuxmint.com
A forum member named Pjotr has created some very excellent pages with many answers...

Before posting for help, please be sure to read the forum rules about asking for help. Many good tips there!

Again, welcome to the forum!

Welcome to Linux Mint Forums,
If I have helped you solve a problem, please add [SOLVED] to your first post title, it helps other users looking for help, and keeps the forum clean.
