I am not new to Linux Mint, but it has been a long while since I used it as my main distro.
I started with Red Hat, I think version 4. something or other 4.2 maybe in 1996 or 97
then I went do Debian, then Ubuntu, then Mint, then I started thinking I was competent so
went to crunchbang and back to debian and then Damn Small Linux and Slitaz
then I forget where I was - maybe back to Crunchbang, then I finished up with Void
but now I have come back to Mint. It has been a long journey
to get back here, but here, I intend to stay, for a while
I am pretty good at networking problems, customising xfce4, and many computer problems
I am in life a computer and network problem solver
and have my own company that specialises in installing linux servers and desktops or linux servers and windows
desktops and maintaining them.
I have a bit of spare time and love helping people discover linux is a joy not a mountain to be conquered but
a joy to stroll up with beautiful views
anyway. I'm here to get a few answers and hopefully solve a few problems of other people
One thing I notice is how many great experts post here. Problems are solved in the snap of à thumb and finger
on the mint forums - I just hope I'm quick enough to help

Thanks.
I meant to say, actually that it was mint that taught me the most.
When I look back on them days I sure wish time had stood still
if you know what I mean. I enjoyed being a noob and learning this stuff
