Hi,

I am Ratatosk, the squirrel of the germanic mythology climbing up and down on the world tree Yggdrassil. I started my first Linux installation with MX Linux on an old Asus EEE Netbook, then tried Manjaro KDE on my current machine until they dropped the nvidia 340xx drivers. Manjaro still is great to but I found out that I am not enough of a techie, with also not enough spare time and also old hardware to keep up with a rolling distro and so I switched to Linux Mint.

Fist Linux Mint really is awesome! The language detection and proprietary drivers worked out of the box. The automated backup suggestion is a perfect idea, for I never bother to do backup and learned this mistake the hard way.

So, happy to be here!
