Hi,
I've been using Mint for a few years now - since I retired as a Network Tech at a local University here in Newcastle, UK.
I initially hopped around distros, trying a few, but never found one that matched the stability, customisation, and usability of Mint.
I've installed it on multiple machines now, and recommend it to anyone that will listen
Mainly I use my machines to run Distributed Computing medical research projects, which I feel is a worthy use of my computing time.
I look forward to spending more time in this Forum, delving deeper into this awesome O/S
regards
