Haloo
Greetings, mate!
How do you do?
My name is Nere, I am 30 yrs old, from Indonesia.
Yeah, I know, I'm old. Haha.
But, it's never too late to learn something, right?
these few weeks, I have been looking for articles on the internet about subnetting.
I've been wanting to learn it for a long time.
many websites suggest to learn subnetting with GNS3.
and many people also suggest moving to Linux OS for the first time,
Yes, I had "migrated" completely to Linux Mint in the end, just this afternoon.
actually these last 2 days, I was rightly pranked by my cousin, who suggested to use Kali.
Outrageous isn't it? and how stupid I was to just follow the word he said without looking for references first.
Hahahaha, I'm sorry that's so digressing. The point is, that's my story.
I am completely new to this, Linux, coding, and else. and I'm also very Old.
so.. nice to meet you guys and I beg guidance from all of you.
by the way, can you guys give me early hint to start learning subnetting with Linux.
let this old dude learn.
hehehehe.
Sorry for my poor english lad.

I put the food in the dish, but my cat has otherwise given up on training me. I think he sees me as a lost cause. I mean, he's had me for, like... 13 years now, and I still don't know how to hunt, or clean myself, or even meow properly.

As for age, the majority of us here are twice your age or more.
How about nearly 80, fixing computers and doing Linux installations regularly.
This means you are just one of the kids here.

gns3 is great for modeling. Youtube is honestly a great resource and so is w3 schools.
Just make sure you understand Binary math and CIDR, and you'll be straight
