Hello everyone, I just installed Linux Mint and saw the forums, so decided to introduce myself here. I'm from India and working in Finance, and only installed it cause my pc was getting too slow and a friend said that I might linux better than windows. I was wondering how I can use Linux the best for my use case. I also wanted to know how to get more proficient at the terminal and eventually move away from the GUI in sometime.
P.S. I'm sorry if this channel isn't the best place for the particular query, let me know if that's the case and I'll delete the post and repost it in the appropriate channels. Cheers!

it's great to hear, that our LinuxMint System, has been of some use to you,

Hola Indigo We are glad you finally showed up.
This is an excellent forum and one of the reason I chose Minty as my OS.
There is a lot of helf for very vexing problems; which keeps users from
abandoning Linux.
Very good news, as your nation has had two record years in crop production
Thank you Global Warming.
