:D :D:D

Hey there, I'm an Ubuntu user who recently installed Mint on my main Desktop computer (even though it has a PSU that refuses to start sometimes and needs to be hotwired to get it going :( )

Just thought I'd say how impressed I am with all the work that's gone on and all the thought that people have put into it. You guys have done a great job :-)

I don't code that much (I write *very* substandard Python and Bash scripts sometimes). But I like the whole structure of the Linux system, especially the innovative new ways of storing data (like databases that use XML or the Filesystem to organise data). Yeah, so, anyway, even though I can't be much help, thanks very much for all the hard work so far in making this distro easy but powerful.

Code: Select all

Welcome. Glad to see you here.

When I started developing for Mint I had never written a bash script in my life, so if you want to contribute, there's always the potential of doing so.
