newbie linux mint

Hi everyone,
I am 57 years old and I have been working with linux os since 2006. At that time, I started with ubuntu dapper 6.06 and followed all distributions untill today. In the beginning I took some cautious steps on an old PC (amd 450 mhz) but now I run Ubuntu on three PCs. Although I have dual boot machines I rarely use windows anymore. Actually, I often run windows just to update the system.
Although I must admit that MS latest os, W7, is quite good . I've tried several Linux distributions (Fedora, Mandriva, Pardus, Ubuntu, openSUSE)
I liked Suse the best alternative after Ubuntu although it falls a little harder to configure.
And now I have installed Mint 9 Isadora on my testpc (amd 1700)
My conclusion so far: very excellent! Installation, updates and graphic control programs works out of the box. Even after installing ubuntu, you still have some things to fix.
It could well be that in the future I will install Mint on my work PC. Simply amazing !!
Sorry if I make some language mistakes, I'm used writng Dutch
Greetings,
Guy
