Quick (ish) intro!

Postby scotsblood » Mon Nov 29, 2010 12:42 pm

Hi everyone, I'm a complete linux newbie!

I've an inherent dislike of anything microsoft but always been too chicken to dump it on machines I rely on to do everyday money earning work, so I bought a used EEE900 to learn some more, found the default Zandros just seemed to make me more confused about linux than ever, corrupted it trying to figure it out and decided to junk it in favor of something that was actively supported.

Arrived at LMDE after a tip from an IT pro at work, I tried it and here we are, all setup and working fine :D
