Hello All,
My name is Dan, I downloaded Mint last year but did not use it very long. I have always been a Mac-PC hybrid type of guy since as long as I can remember. I had Windows 7 on my desktop but I got fed up with it running so slow, so I wiped the drive and put Mint on it than ran all the updates. I always loved Mint and now I feel that I took the hand cuffs off my desktop because it's running so much better with Mint opposed to Windows 7. I think it's going to stick this time. I figured I use my computer for three things browsing the internet with Google chrome, checking e-mails and designing websites and I am sure I can find a program in synaptic that will allow me to run my old Macromedia programs, Dreamweaver and Fireworks. Ive used Linux before and I am still not sure how I feel abut Gnome but I checked out the mint website and seen there is now a KDE environment for it and I am in th processes of downloading that.
