Very impressed new UK user

Postby Jayel » Thu Jan 13, 2011 6:23 pm

Hey guys,

I have been testing many different distros through minimal, netbook and full desktop solutions and I don't know what it is about Mint but it's just lovely!

I am an avid geek but never really made a full transition to Linux, in fact until it gets(if ever) full gaming support I doubt I will, but Mint is the first distro that I have seen where I've thought instantly "That's the one for me". Right now I am booting Isadora off USB on my work laptop as my main machines graphics card recently made a loud POP. Easy setup, fast response, Debian/Ubuntu based but with more to offer in my opinion, cracking job guys, seriously well done!

I'm looking to learn a lot more Linux techniques over the next year as I am getting into website design and setup so when it comes to networking their ain't no OS that does it like Linux, especially at the cost :D

I can safely say Mint is my new platform, thank you.
