Hello ALL

Postby hardwarehelp » Wed Feb 09, 2011 11:54 pm

This is the first time I have ran Linux as my primary OS, though back in the day I did play around with Mandrake and Redhat. It has really grown on me and I do not think I will be going back to Windows, Just had to through that out there... Mint is a great OS... Well I look forward to learning more and sure ill be asking questions. Take it easy on a noob...

Hello dude :P
I'd give a cool tip as to a noob ;) how to search in this forum to learn a lot and quickly:

if u use this forum search function and u won't find expected info, try another search engine, e.g. google but type there

site:linuxmint.com anykeyword

site:linuxmint.com "remastersys"

site:linuxmint.com "how to back up"

So this "site:linuxmint.com" will force the search engine to look for in this forum (or community) only
Linux/Unix is about freedom, Windows about slavery.

md5 / sha1 check [how-to for NEWBIES]

Score: 43 I have some hippie in me. Cool, man 8)

Welcome to the forum. A good many of us here use Linux as our only operating system.
Currently running Debian Stable on a Dell OptiPlex 3010 and LMDE on a Dell Inspiron 1545.
