Just a shout out to the developers, WOW! Mint Linux is very impressive. I've only been using it for a couple of hours and it has a very polished appearance. Runs pretty good on my old Dell D610. I just downloaded the RC for Mint Xfce and I'm hoping to give that a spin soon.

Welcome. That's a common thing with people who have been using Ubuntu for a while and assume Mint is just Ubuntu with a green theme and some codecs. Usually they're impressed when they get round to trying it. I try various distros but Mint is always the one I recommend for new users regardless of whether I currently use it.
