Hi just installed MINT yesterday on a dual boot with Win7, needed to play games* and use my Android phone through the computer**.

Used to use Ubuntu so not a novice, nor expert





* Trying to get WINE working, or rather the game to work in, but can't seem to change the authorisation on .exe files yet.

PS. Came across these instructions for .exe with Wine
Right click the .exe
Properties
Under the Permssions tab make sure “Allow executing file as program” is checked
Click Close and you should be able to now run it through wine..

TY all, yer saw the permission option it just won't allow it to be selected, maybe because the .exe is on a NTFS partition ?

Also anyone solve this, which is a real pain
