grub win98 boot problem

Postby ptolemy9 » Sun Mar 30, 2014 5:43 pm

Using Debian Mint 32bit. Grub should be booting three OS's. It boots Mint and another Linux OS(puppy,) OK,.. but will not boot the win98 partition. Everything is listed in grub .cfg file but win98 is still not booting. I can post the the .cfg file if need be.

Add (Solved) to the topic-title of the first post when appropriate so others know they might find a solution here.

Thanks for the info.(It's a big read.) At the moment I have reinstalled grub4dos through puppy linux. Although win98 and puppy both boot,.. Mint will not, except,..when I use the advance menu under grub4dos, which then finds grub2 and boots Mint. This is a workable solution, just not pretty.
