I made a custom static login screen for Linux Mint. It has Racing plane's prop with the Blue Angles in the background. Unpack. Go to Settings / Login Window. then simply drag the "SpeedPlane.tar.gz" into the Login Window list to install. Then select it from the list.
I borrowed some code from samriggs. I wouldn't have been able to figure it out on my own.

Re: Plane MDM theme.
Well, I made this and tested it on LM-18 Cinnamon 64-bit. I assume it would work on all Linux Mint desktops, but don't know for sure. This is the first time I've played with something like this......
Or did you mean that I should include a LM logo in the image?

Re: Plane MDM theme.
I am not sure if it will work in other desktops and Mint versions. Somebody running vms can test and certify .
If possible submit it to the testing team, but I dint know how to do that.

Re: Plane MDM theme.
Well, I just tested it on my LapTop running LM-17.3 xfce 64-bit and my NetBook running LM-17.3 xfce 32-bit. It worked perfectly in both cases. Is there any case where this won't work in any newer version of Linux Mint????
Re: Plane MDM theme.
Hey way to go racer-x glad to see your getting right to it.
If you don't know if you ya got mdm running go to Menu>Settings>Login
As far as I know it is standard on mint mate, cinnamon, xfce unless you want some other one.
Mdm has been running on mint since 2013 other distros might or might not have automatically installed.
If your login screen has some animation on it then it should be mdm
KDE uses sddm not mdm.
So this will not work for KDE unless someone uses mdm on kde somehow.
Hope this answers your question it is made only for mdm login.
Keep up the great work racer-x

this is a mdm theme (login screen) if you have mdm running and installed it should work unless the person who makes the theme mucks up the code somehow, that's why we test em before uploading emPlease specify the Mint version and the desktop it will work on.
