Sorry I don't speak English.
Considering this is a Linux Mint site, dedicated to the operating system, I don't see a problem with having the logo pasted on image and it makes sense to have it so. I do see your point though so don't think I am trying to pick on you, because there are plenty of other distros that don't paste their logo brand on their wallpapers, but there are others that do. It's preference from the designers who make them to decide if they want to use the logo in their designs. I also think that it could be pride as well; they are proud to display a logo on their system from an OS that is one of the best around, and who is anyone to criticize that? Just my 2 cents.Dread Knight wrote:It's ok... but I'm not a fan of 'watermarked wallpapers', i mean ones containing a logo, especially in the middle.
Perhaps you guys should make nice wallpapers without mentioning mint or the logo? So that they could hopefully be used on other linux distros or even operating systems?
Think about how many use Mac OS X or Windows (bliss) wallpapers everywhere
Sorry, don't mean to be rude, but most wallpapers that came by default in Felicia are watermarked and i don't think it's that cool. Just my 2 cents...
Your English is very good, so I wouldn't worry about it.jobastr wrote:Thank you dlkreations, I would not have been able to manage to say it I even, not seen my level in pitiful English.
I don't understand "2cent"??
