Enable format a removable drive using right click

Post by recibe »

I am used to having a "format" option in the right click drop down menu with Ubuntu & Gnome 2.3.

I found a how-to on accomplishing this http://community.linuxmint.com/tutorial/view/487, but with LMDE 201403 I get the following error:

Code: Select all

sudo apt-get install gnome-format nautilus-script-manager nautilus-actions nautilus-ideviceinfo libparted0
E: Unable to locate package gnome-format
E: Unable to locate package nautilus-script-manager
E: Unable to locate package nautilus-ideviceinfo

Anyone know what the corresponding Debian packages are ?

Are you running Cinnamon or MATE or another desktop? ICBW, but I believe you refer to the UI in the file manager application, which will be different (and will use different packages) depending on which desktop you are running.
