This is my ported version of "Fusion Icon" working with Compiz 0.9.x/GTK3/Mint17.x and 18.x etc.
Should works okay.
Tested on my Mint 18.3 and is working very well.

Don't blame me for bugs, errors, hangs, data losts etc.
All You do, do at Your own risk!

Installation:
1. Make sure You have installed the latest versions of those packages (if not, install them):
- python2,
- compiz,
- emerald (emerald is optional)

2. Unpack the archive to some directory.

3. Open terminal in that directory.

4. Set executable attributes to "setup.py" file.

5. Run the installation by typing command:

Code: Select all

sudo python2 setup.py install
6. Run installed program with command:

Code: Select all

/usr/local/bin/fusion-icon
You can also add this program to Your autostart and/or activator.
Icons are included in the archive.

Download (updated working link):

Ps. If someone want to make a deb or rpm package, feel free to do that. Just include the proper credits and link to this post.
Ps2. The program should work on Mint, Ubuntu, Debian, Arch and Gentoo. I don't have time to test it on other distros.

Enjoy! :)

Edit: Download link are updated (04.01.2018). Should be working okay now.
I added also the zipped package here as an attachment. Just for any case.
If the link somehow don't work, just let me know, I add the new one again ;)
